Summary of English Chapter 1:
There was one certain king in one kingdom he wishes to know the answers for his three question the three questions are
- What is the right time to begin something?
- Which people should he listen to?
- What is the most important thing for him to do?
The thought came to the king which means that the king knows the answers to the three questions means he would never fail. The king, therefore, sent the messengers throughout his kingdom to promising a large sum of money to anyone who is answering the three questions. Many wise men came to the king, but they answer differently. Someone said
- King must prepare a timetable and follow it strictly
- Others said Could he do everything at its proper time.
- And other said king needed a council of a wise man
- King wants to have to go to the magicians
For the second question, someone said
- The people most necessary to the king were his councilors
- Others said his soldiers were the most necessary
But the king was not satisfied with the answers and gave no reward to anyone, he decided to seek the help of a certain hermit. The hermit lived in the forest. He meets only simple people.
So the king put on the plainclothes and went alone to the house of the wise hermit. The hermit was digging the ground in front of his hut.
He welcomes the king and started digging. The king also helped with digging. The king asked the questions to the hermit but wisely did not answer
Again the king repeated his question At the time someone running towards the hermit hut his hand was pressed against the bleeding stomach.
As he reached the king he fainted and fell to the ground and the king dressed the wound and it did not stop so the king re-dressed the wound and the sun was set and laid the wounded man on the bed
The next morning the bearded man said the king forgiveness. He told the king he wanted to kill the king because the king had killed his brother and seized his property.
After listening to this the king forgave the man and returned his property. Before leaving the king wished once to get the answers to his question. The wise hermit was sowing seeds on the beds.
